Tiny Together
Founders Greg and Debbie Stephenson
Deborah Stephenson is the Executive Director of Tiny Together™ with a master’s in nursing education and more than thirty years working with Veterans, pediatrics, elderly, surgical, homebound, ventilator dependent, disabled, and immunology patients of all ages, in a variety of settings and roles. She has been the primary educator for hospital departments, lead teams as a pharmaceutical clinical trial data manager and patient advocate and developed National HIPAA compliance and alteration in airway best practice programs for the Veterans Hospitals. She has worked in various managerial roles with non-profit organizations developing family events, parenting programs, bereavement grief care, community support and organizing local and international mission trips for students and is a recognized regional baker and baby whisperer.
Gregory Stephenson has more than thirty-five years working with the skilled trades, specifically in HVAC and building automation systems, and built several homes including their current full-time Tiny home, which he says was the most intricate due to space. His roles have served multiple states as project manager in million-dollar contracts to improve banking centers, government offices, prisons and event arenas across NC, SC, VA, and TN. Currently he is the regional sales specialist for a global commercial HVAC, electrical, and automation controls corporation with contracts throughout the Appalachian region and is the project manager for Tiny Together™ campuses, and experience as a track and field coach for Neuse Charter School.
Tiny Together™ has three upcoming events the weekend of Oct 4-5, 2024, and has requested other non-profits from the area as well as business partners to join in the launch of our non-profit organization. We have partnered with Horizon Structures and invited other local tiny home builders to bring their homes for public display, we have requested county commissioners and managers, town leaders, and regional Senators and Congressmen to attend this public informational meeting regarding the need for affordable housing and this pilot program in our Appalachian communities. In addition, we are currently working on partnerships with local construction and manufacturing companies to create some cottages on foundations in our communities.
