We are currently working on emergency housing.  The use of all funds go to aid our Appalachian neighbors in rebuilding our communities. People have lost their homes, cars, dreams, and many of their places of employment. We appreciate your support as we work to create new Tiny Cottages for families and workers.

Oct 4/5 events canceled and will be rescheduled in the Spring.

This is a bit south of our area, but illustrates how difficult the situation is and how critical it is to begin the process of providing long-term housing. As this story illustrates, we know people are going to leave our region and we need to be thinking how that relocation will affect our communities negatively.  https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/unless-you-ve-been-through-it-you-can-t-understand-nc-rebuilds-after-helene/vi-AA1tmsHm?ocid=socialshare&pc=DCTS&cvid=43408c1815f04bb88db346cf0997f37b&ei=32  If you have the ability to volunteer in person, so many still need mucking out, if you can donate from afar we are working on long-term housing solutions to prevent everyone from needing to leave our towns. Please reach out for ways to support our mountain communities!
