This is a view of our roads immediately after Hurricane Helene.
We have been working since 2022 to create long-term affordable workforce housing communities. Our NC 501c3 has been right here in the High Country, getting to know local government, meeting with Senators and Congressmen, and ensuring we understand what the businesses, manufacturing, and local restaurant/shop owners and workers need. After Helene, we know that many of the damaged homes may not be repairable. Please consider how your support may help.
We are working on purchasing land, which will require funding, grading/erosion control, and septic/water/electric installation to prepare the property for new homes. We aim to purchase property and are actively fundraising so that we can take out a smaller loan, which will keep the costs we require to pay insurance/loan/repairs down. This means we can charge SUBSTANTIALLY less for lot rentals/tiny home rentals to our neighbors. This is how we make a difference in our community with integrity and compassion, as we provide workforce housing right here in Appalachia. Please see our donation link, we appreciate your assistance as we rebuild not just people’s homes but their whole life.
