Let us explain how this works in simple language so you understand why we are excited to be among the few to earn a platinum seal.
Candid creates a public profile for every approved IRS tax-exempt organization in the United States. Nonprofits demonstrate honesty and good practice adherence to funders by earning a Candid Seal. We can choose to share information — including mission, donation information, program information, financial reports or IRS filings, and/or leadership and board demographics, earning a seal based on how much information provided. For Tiny Together to earn a platinum seal means we have shared with funders and the public any information requested that does not jeopardize our mission or board member’s privacy.
We want to be sure you, our neighbors, funders, and friends, know that we are good stewards of everything you have worked so hard for, because we too are working hard to make a difference here in our own communities.
